Humans now the prey as Nepal tigers fight back from the brink of extinction
"When conservationists set about trying to save the Asian tiger from extinction in Nepal a decade ago their first thought was to protect the endangered creatures from human hunters. But in an ironic twist of fate, populations have surged to such an extent that it is humans who are now under threat from the big cats."

Wild tigers of Bhutan – in pictures
"Rare images of wild tigers in Bhutan, captured by camera traps, show tigers and other animals using high-altitude wildlife corridors which are lifelines to isolated tiger populations and critical to genetic diversity, conservation and growth"

Tiger quadruplets make their public debut in Hamburg
"Four young Siberian tiger cubs saw the outside world for the first time on Thursday at the Tierpark Hagenbeck zoo in Hamburg, Germany. Since being born at the site on June 15 the quadruplet cubs -- two males and two females -- have been secluded indoors in their litter box."

The price of living with tigers
"Is it fair to let loose an animal that has previously attacked humans? In a matter of days, a tigress will find a new home in Bor Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. According to news reports, she was trapped in Brahmapuri, 150 kilometres away, in mid-July after she killed two people and attacked five others. Forest Department officials say Bor has few humans and plenty of prey to sustain the cat. However, worried residents of 71 villages around the 138-square kilometre reserve passed a resolution against the move. Now wildlife officials plan to observe the two-year-old tigress’ behaviour in an enclosure within the forest before letting her run wild. She’ll also sport a radio-collar so they can track her. Releasing this animal makes a mockery of wildlife management."

Elephants and tigers kill one human a day in India, as growing population squeezes habitat
"Endangered elephants and tigers are killing one person a day in India as humans put a growing squeeze on their habitat, according to new government figures. But man is in turn killing a leopard a day as the man-animal tussle for space reaches new heights."

"Amba, Shepreth Wildlife Park’s resident tiger, marks her 19th birthday tomorrow, August 4, and the park is once again hosting a fabulous birthday party to celebrate!"

Tiger selfies – and other Tinder tropes we’d like to see gone
"Another day, another era on the wane. The dating app Tinder has been asked to stop its users from using selfies with tigers on their profiles, after animal charities argued, entirely correctly, that it is cruel."

I have a question. Why did you decline accepting my deviations in the group? I'm part of the group, my pictures didn't feature any kind of abuse, hunting, etc. in the drawing nor encourage that sort of thing, and they were of big cats, so why were they rejected? I mean, I'm totally fine if there's a perfectly good reason or if there's been a misunderstanding, I'm just a little confused.
